1939 14th St. NW

1939 14th St. NW is in the historic U Street corridor. The most recent tenant was JJ’s Cheesesteaks, which closed in 2017. The building is three stories, part of a pair of rowhouse-type buildings on the corner of 14th and U Street.

1209 U St. NW

1209 U St. NW is a narrow three-story commercial building.  It is brick with stone trim, and was built in 1900.  This door is on the second-story of the rear of the building, and appears as if it might once have led to a deck that is not there anymore.
