1801 L St.

1801 L St. is an office building in the center of D.C.’s business district.  It was occupied by a government tenant, the EEOC, for twenty years.  When the EEOC did not need as much space, the building was advertised for private tenants in 2007.  But given the downturn in the economy starting after that, commercial tenants were not found and the building is again occupied by government tenants, with TARP signing a 10-year lease starting in 2009, for 90% of the building.

This door is on the 18th St. side of the building, with reflections from across 18th St.
