232 9th St. SE

232 9th St. SE, built in 1900, is a rowhouse that looks like it is in very bad shape, with rotten siding and broken windows. It was recently sold, in September 2013, so presumably it will be remodeled soon. The D.C. zoning office has issued a determination letter about the property. The issue appears to be the amount of the lot covered by the house, with the D.C. standard being a coverage of no more than 60% without an exemption, and this rowhouse currently at 75%. From the documents, it appears that the owner is making changes that will move it a bit closer to the standard by taking down a tool shed, so that the permitting office might approve it.
