The American Institute of Pharmacy building is at 2215 Constitution Avenue, facing the grounds of the Lincoln Memorial. There is a long series of stairs and terraces leading up to the building. It was built in 1932 by architect John Russell Pope, who also designed the Jefferson Memorial and the National Gallery of Art. It is designed in the Beaux Arts style, and was required to be clad in white marble to coordinate with the Lincoln Memorial and surrounding government buildings. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
