The Jefferson

The Jefferson, at 315 H St. NW, is a small, four-story apartment building, containing two units on each floor.  It was designed in 1899 by  George S. Cooper, a prominent D.C. architect who designed many apartment buildings.  It is in the Romanesque Revival style, with tan brick and Indiana Limestone trim.  It is on the National Register of Historic Places.
