The Scripture Cathedral Church building is at 810 O St. NW. The church recently sold the building since it moved to a new expanded location in Landover, Maryland. The buyer, Shaw Development Partners, plans to raze the building and construct a 60-unit residential building with retail on the ground floor. First, they need to get permission from the D.C. Historic Review Board, since the building is in the Shaw Historic District.
The front doors are glass, set in a large arch of stained glass.
