The Washington City Paper offices were at 2390 Champlain St. from 1993 to 2013. They were forced to move by the developer, Friedman Capital, in 2013 because of the plan to build a hotel. The demolition of the building has recently begun, and as of yesterday (3/19/15) when this photo was taken, only the facade has not yet been demolished. The 227-room hotel will be built on this property, plus incorporate the First Church of Christ Scientist next door.
