1780 Massachusetts Avenue NW is a 4-story stone mansion, constructed in 1922 for the Ingalls family, by architect Jules Henri de Sibour. The Brookings Institution bought the building in 2009 for the offices of the President of Brookings. The main building of Brookings is across the street at 1775 Massachusetts Avenue.
